<p>Μάλιστα η ίδια απείλησε πρόσφατα με παραίτηση από οποιοδήποτε άλλο project ως Wonder Woman αν το studio της Warner Bros δεν εκδιώξει τον κατηγορούμενο για σεξουαλική παρενόχληση Μπρετ Ράτνερ (Brett Ratner).</p>
<p>Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της Page Six η Γκαντόντ -που ένα μήνα πριν αποχώρησε από φιλανθρωπικό δείπνο προς τιμή του μεγαλοπαραγωγού Ράτνερ— έχει κηρύξει πόλεμο στο στέλεχος και συμπαραγωγό μέσω της εταιρίας του RatPac-Dune Entertainment στο κινηματογραφικό reboot της "Wonder Woman".</p>
<p>H Γκαντόντ γνωρίζει καλά πως ένας αποτελεσματικός τρόπος για να χτυπήσει ουσιαστικά τον Ratner είναι ένα οικονομικό πλήγμα.</p>
<p><em>«Δεν μπορούν να έχουν μια ταινία που έχει να κάνει με την ενδυνάμωση των γυναικών και να συγχρηματοδοτείται από έναν άνδρα που κατηγορείται για σεξουαλική κακομεταχείριση κατά των γυναικών»</em>, φέρεται να έχει πει η ηθοποιός σύμφωνα με τις ίδια πηγή.</p>
<p>Σήμερα μαζί με περισσότερες από 300 γυναίκες ηθοποιούς, σεναριογράφους, σκηνοθέτες και άλλες προσωπικότητες του σινεμά συνυπογράφει για το πρόγραμμα #TimesUp με σκοπό την αντιμετώπισης της σεξουαλικής παρενόχλησης στο Χόλιγουντ όπως και σε άλλους εργασιακούς χώρους στις ΗΠΑ.</p>
